The Opportunity

At Vocus, we’re building next-generation telecommunications platforms—and we’re looking for a product-focused Full Stack Frontend Developer to help shape the experience.

This role will be base out of our Mitcham Data Centre location, where you’ll design and build modern, scalable, and secure SaaS applications that power our Private Wireless and telecommunications solutions.

You’ll work closely with backend engineers, product teams, and network specialists to deliver intuitive, high-performance user experiences. This is an opportunity to contribute to both enhancing existing platforms and building new products from the ground up, all within a cloud-first, agile environment.

What you’ll be doing


- Design and develop responsive, high-quality frontend applications for SaaS platforms
- Collaborate with backend teams to integrate APIs, services, and data models into user-facing applications
- Translate product requirements into intuitive, user-centric UI/UX experiences
- Enhance existing applications to improve performance, scalability, and usability
- Apply secure coding practices and contribute to security uplift initiatives
- Participate across the full software development lifecycle (design → build → test → deploy)
- Deploy and manage applications in AWS cloud environments
- Work with CI/CD pipelines to automate build and release processes
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues across frontend and integration layers
- Contribute to technical documentation, standards, and best practices
- Stay current with emerging technologies and drive continuous improvement and innovation What you’ll bring


- Proven experience in frontend or full stack development, ideally in SaaS environments
- Strong expertise in modern frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js
- Solid skills in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3
- Experience integrating RESTful APIs and backend services
- Strong understanding of secure development practices (authentication, authorization, OWASP)
- Experience working with Git and version control systems
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable working in Agile, cross-functional teams Technical capability


- Experience working with AWS or cloud-based deployment models
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments
- Exposure to data visualisation/BI tools (e.g. Qlik Sense, Grafana)
- Experience building telecommunications or network-related applications
- Hands-on experience with Node.js (BFF or lightweight backend services)
- Familiarity with microservices architecture and API-driven development
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or containerised deployments
- Exposure to UI/UX design tools (Figma, Adobe XD)
- Understanding of Private Wireless, OSS/BSS, or network monitoring platforms
- Experience with observability and monitoring tools
