Accounts Payable Officer (Abbotsford)

Accounts Payable Officer Location: Abbotsford Full time | Permanent The Opportunity We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Payable Officer to join a cooperative finance team. This is not a traditional AP role
- it offers a broader, more administrative focus within the accounts payable function, making it ideal for someone keen to build their experience across finance operations. You'll play a key role in keeping processes running smoothly, supporting the AP team, and assisting with key finance tasks, including month-end and payment processes. Key Responsibilities
- Managing the shared accounts payable inbox and responding to queries
- Coordinating and maintaining inbox workflow processes
- Updating and maintaining master data (supplier records, details, etc.)
- Providing backup support for payment processing
- Assisting with month-end administrative tasks
- Supporting the wider finance team with general AP administration About You
- Previous experience in accounts payable or finance administration (preferred but not essential)
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
- Confident managing multiple tasks and prioritising effectively
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Comfortable working with systems and handling data accurately
