Digital Mid Designer (Collingwood)

**The Role**: Atollon is looking for a full-time mid-weight digital designer. We’re looking to add a talented individual to our team who can generate great ideas and deliver digital solutions with meticulous attention to detail. The successful applicant will have a strong background in UI and UX design, and will work collaboratively with the team to develop solutions for diverse clients in sectors including retail, fashion, property, finance, technology, community, and hospitality.

Solid experience working in Figma is a must for this role, as is a passion for graphic and web design and a willingness to push creative boundaries. You’ll support and collaborate directly with the team as you create concepts, translate brands and deliver high quality solutions for the digital sphere.

Experience and Qualifications
- Strong design background with an understanding of UX and UI principles
- Highly proficient typographic, layout, composition and editorial design skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience using Figma, Creative Cloud, and related issue-tracking tools like Jira
- 2+ years of professional graphic design experience
- Hold a tertiary graphic design qualification, or have strong industry experience
- Understanding of HTML/CSS, copywriting and/or animation skills are a bonus but not essential

Responsibilities and Expectations
- Ability to work and thrive as part of a collaborative and close knit team
- Design and rollout digital campaign materials such as EDMs, socials, digital adverts, websites, presentation documents, etc.
- Create engaging and responsive designs that optimise user experience and translate brands for the digital space
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and act on client feedback
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and user flows to communicate ideas and concepts effectively
- Collaborate and contribute directly to/with the digital design team
- Participate in creative discussions, presenting work, and providing/receiving feedback
- Stay engaged and on top of digital design trends
