Sales Consultant / Sales Cadet - Automotive Industry (Fitzroy)

An exciting opportunity is available for motivated and customer-focused Sales Consultants and Sales Cadets to join a growing automotive dealership located in Melbourne's inner suburbs.

This role is ideal for entry-level candidates, recent graduates, retail or hospitality professionals, or junior salespeople looking to build a long-term career in automotive sales. About the Role

You will guide customers through the full vehicle purchasing journey
- from enquiry through to test drive, negotiation, and final delivery. You will be responsible for delivering an exceptional customer experience while achieving sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle customer enquiries in-person, online, and over the phone
- Conduct vehicle presentations and test drives
- Build rapport and identify customer needs
- Manage the full sales process from enquiry to delivery
- Maintain accurate customer records and follow-up activity
- Achieve individual and team sales targets
- Support dealership promotions and marketing activities
- Deliver high-quality customer service at all times Skills & Experience

- Entry-level to junior experience (0-3 years preferred)
- Background in sales, retail, hospitality, or customer service ideal
- Automotive experience is an advantage but not essential
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Motivated, enthusiastic, and target-driven attitude
- Ability to build relationships with customers
- Basic computer and administrative skills
- Valid Australian Driver's Licence required
