Hospitality Assistant - Cleaner (East Melbourne)

**Newmans on the Park**, a 105-bed residential aged care home in Templestowe, just 17km northeast of Melbourne and close to local bus routes.

**About the Opportunity**

**The Role**

You will be part of a team dedicated to our residents, contributing to a model of care that goes above and beyond every day. Every day you will be making a difference in people’s lives, building fabulous relationships with our residents and their families.
- Ensure that all areas of the facility are clean and maintained at a high standard at all times
- Vacuuming, mopping and polishing floors
- Dusting, polishing and general tidying
- Cleaning bathroom facilities
- Attending to residents' personal requirements by ensuring the cleanliness of bedside cupboards, tables and other equipment or furniture located in the residents' room
- Assist with the provision of a safe, productive and hygienic care service through maintaining a clean environment and adhering to infection control practices.
- Replenish and restock cleaning trolleys as required

**To be successful, you will have**:

- Previous hotel services experience desirable
- Willingness to take direction from others
- Reliability and shift flexibility
- Good time management skills and the ability to work well under pressure
- Valid working rights in Australia (Passport, Birth Certificate etc)
- Valid Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
