**About the Role**

As a Medical Operations Specialist, you will play a critical role in managing compassionate access programs and requests for Medical Affairs and in contributing to the implementation of systems, processes, and projects within Medical Affairs. You will ensure that all activities are conducted in compliance with regulatory requirements, GSK’s high standards, and industry best practices. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional with a strong background in medical affairs, medical governance or related fields to make a significant impact on our mission.

Your role will be varied and will include:

- Managing correspondence and process requests for compassionate access in a compliant and timely manner to ensure access to GSK medicines for appropriate patients
- Training, supporting, and overseeing other team members who contribute to the management of compassionate access requests
- Implementing and continuously improving systems and processes for compassionate access programs
- Contributing to the Internal Control Framework for Medical Affairs, Medical Information, and Pharmacovigilance functions, including the local system for written standards, training, management monitoring, and risk management
- Assisting with Medical Information and Pharmacovigilance activities, where required

**About you?**

To be successful in this role you will need to be able to understand medical and product information and to communicate with customers such as healthcare professionals, patients, and members of the public.

You’ll also have:

- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., life sciences, healthcare, pharmacy).
- Experience in medical affairs, medical governance or a related discipline (e.g. quality assurance, corporate compliance) within the pharmaceutical industry
- Strong organisational and project management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proven strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
