- Must start in Abbotsford About Billy Bubbles If you've ever run out of gas for your Sodastream you'll know how frustrating it is to refill the gas cylinder. That's exactly what Billy Bubbles is trying to solve; customers make an order online, then leave their cylinders by their front door, we then come to them and swap their cylinders for full ones, kind of like an old school milkman! - 2+ shifts a week, mostly between 12–9pm
- Start at Abbotsford warehouse, load your car, then follow the route from driver app
- Deliver full gas cylinders and collect empties from customer doorsteps
- Friendly customer chats when you see them – but much of the job is solo driving Being a delivery driver at Billy Bubbles is a really rewarding role for anyone looking to take on something autonomous. Shifts start at our warehouse in Abbotsford, where you load up your car alongside the rest of the team. Once the delivery run starts, you open our delivery driver app where your entire route is mapped out. Drive to your first stop, deliver the products shown on the app, then move on to the next! Some of the best moments come when driving around, blasting your favourite tunes or podcasts on a sunny afternoon whilst getting to speak to our customers (Who are all sooo lovely). But the role does get tough when you are delivering in the dark whilst it's raining and no one is feeling very chatty. It can be lonely work, but you're not going to have someone standing over your shoulder and over managing you. We reward our drivers by paying them per stop whilst also giving them a per KM reimbursement for the usage of their car. This means that if you get your delivery run done quickly, you'll get an awesome hourly rate for that shift. To translate that for you, lately our drivers have seen an average of $37-$39/hour rate. - Hospitality or customer service experience a plus (but not essential) You're a bit of fun that is happy to work independently. Our delivery drivers are the face of our business so customer service experience in a fast paced environment is highly regarded (Hospitality experience is a valuable example). No delivery experience is needed, but a drivers licence, ABN and a car is necessary.
