Senior Pastry Chef | Lune Fitzroy (City of Yarra)

Lune exists to create exceptional experiences, moments of joy, and excellence in the everyday. We’re looking for a Senior Pastry Chef to join the lamination team at our Fitzroy venue. This is a full-time role for someone who is passionate about pastry, thrives in a fast-paced production environment, and is motivated to continually grow their skills. Working in beautifully designed facilities with a progressive workplace culture, you’ll be part of the team responsible for producing our signature viennoiserie to the highest standards. You’ll bring both technical skill and a willingness to collaborate, while maintaining quality, speed, and consistency across every stage of production. What the role involves
- Hands‑on production of viennoiserie from start to finish
- Assist with the day‑to‑day coordination of kitchen staff to align with production requirements
- Ensure that high standards of food safety, hygiene, and presentation are maintained to company standards
- Work as part of a cohesive team to meet daily production goals
- Contribute to a positive, collaborative kitchen culture We’re looking for someone who
- Has a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a pastry production or restaurant kitchen
- Ideally has experience in lamination, baking, or kitchen leadership (desirable, not essential)
- Demonstrates resilience, accountability, and a positive attitude
- Is motivated, ambitious, and determined to excel in their craft
- Has full working rights in Australia, can work full‑time hours and is versatile with their rostered days What we offer
