Bookkeeper (South Perth)

Join a progressive **Chartered Accounting Practice** supporting a wide range of clients across different industries. We’re expanding our team and looking for an experienced **Bookkeeper** who enjoys variety, thrives in a small-team environment, is keen to **mentor a junior bookkeeper** while also managing their own client portfolio and working alongside other bookkeepers.

**About the Role**
- Hands-on bookkeeping for a range of business clients
- Mentor and support a junior bookkeeper
- Co-ordinate bookkeeping workflow and job allocation within the team
- Prepare BAS, IAS, payroll, and superannuation reports
- Reconcile accounts and assist accountants with year-end compliance
- Work closely with partners and accountants in a supportive practice workplace
- Liaise directly with clients
- Train and support clients in all things bookkeeping

**About You**
- Minimum 3 years’ bookkeeping experience (preferably in an accounting practice)
- Strong working knowledge of **Xero**, **Xero Practice Manager, MYOB** and cloud-based tools
- Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
- Confident communicator and collaborative team member
- A genuine interest in accounting functions and professional growth
- You enjoy improving efficiencies and embracing new technology

Pay: $70,000.00
