Location: South Perth, WA
Work Type: Full time | Flexible hours available
Salary: Commensurate with experience
Join a progressive Chartered Accounting Practice supporting a wide range of clients across different industries. We’re expanding our team and looking for an experienced Bookkeeper who enjoys variety, thrives in a small-team environment, is keen to mentor a junior bookkeeper while also managing their own client portfolio and working alongside other bookkeepers.
About the Role
Hands-on bookkeeping for a range of business clients
Mentor and support a junior bookkeeper
Co-ordinate bookkeeping workflow and job allocation within the team
Prepare BAS, IAS, payroll, and superannuation reports
Reconcile accounts and assist accountants with year-end compliance
Work closely with partners and accountants in a supportive practice workplace
Liaise directly with clients
Train and support clients in all things bookkeeping
About You
Minimum 3 years’ bookkeeping experience (preferably in an accounting practice)
Strong working knowledge of Xero, Xero Practice Manager, MYOB and cloud-based tools
Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
Confident communicator and collaborative team member
A genuine interest in accounting functions and professional growth
You enjoy improving efficiencies and embracing new technology
