- Berry A rewarding opportunity for experienced and enthusiastic carers to join our team in Berry. We are currently seeking experienced aged care carers to work at our Berry Village. You will play a key part in our care team by providing a wide range of personal care services to our residents. We are an award‑winning, leading aged care provider delivering best quality aged care services that make a difference in people’s lives. The Royal Freemasons’ Benevolent Institution (RFBI) is a non‑for‑profit organisation that has been in operation for 145 years. We currently operate 22 residential aged care villages, 20 retirement villages and a range of home and community services across NSW and ACT. Your key responsibilities
- Shower, dress, groom, assist with meals and make the beds
- Provide basic clinical care including wound dress, assist with medication delivery and record basic clinical observations
- Provide care management for diabetes, arthritis and other conditions
- Enter reports and observations into our computer program – iCare
- Assist and follow the directions of the Care Manager to achieve the best possible person‑centred care What we look for
- Certificate III in Aged Care
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Previous experience in an aged care workplace
- An enthusiastic and motivated approach
- Current First Aid Certificate
- Valid police check clearance
- Must be eligible to work in Australia What’s on offer
