Baker (Coolum Beach)

The **German Bakehouse Group**, based on the Sunshine Coast, is a large-scale bakery specialising in authentic German Sourdough bread. Our production includes bread, rolls, pretzels, pastries, cakes, pies, sausage rolls, and seasonal items for our stores.

We are currently looking for a **Baker &** to join our team.

At the German Bakehouse Group, our **Bakers** responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Bake different bread types, like pretzels, baguettes and sourdough breads
- Prepare custom-made products (e.g. various bread shapes, different sized pastries, seasonal items)
- Maintaining cleanliness & safety in our bakery
- Design and/or improve recipes as directed
- Prepare and decorate pastries or cakes with glazes, icings, buttercream etc.
- Keeping records relating to deliveries, inventory, cleaning and production levels as required and instructed
- Ensure proper procedures have been conducted as part of the baking team and/or individual tasks

To be considered for this role, you will need to:

- Have a passion for baked goods and pastry
- Have experience in the relevant area (baking, working in a fast paced bakery environment)
- Knowledge of all bakery equipment including mixing, ovens, sheeter etc
- Have a positive attitude, love working in a team workplace

- Be prepared to work hard
- A formal qualification is an advantage.

Salary range is $70000 to $80000 for these positions.

This is a full time-permanent position.

Pay: $70,000.00
- $80,000.00 per year

Supplementary Pay:

**Experience**:
