Description
The Future Generation Joint Venture brings together the combined engineering experience and expertise of WeBuild, Clough and Lane and has been selected to design and construct Snowy 2.0 . This project is based within the Snowy Mountains in NSW and will deliver one of the largest pumped hydro schemes in the world.
Snowy 2.0 is the next chapter in the Snowy Scheme's history. It is the largest committed renewable energy project in Australia and will provide on‑demand energy and large‑scale storage for many generations to come. This iconic project has and will continue to create its own legacy in Australian history.
The purpose of this position is to support the Senior Communications and Stakeholder Engagement Manager and the broader team with communication deliverables, including drafting communication content, providing event support, and updating the intranet with accurate information.
Main Duties / Responsibilities
Support team meeting set up and organisation for weekly meetings
Issue reminders to team for reporting requirements
Draft content for use in external communications and seek opportunities to support the team
Manage Cooma office notice boards and content updates
Provide intranet support as directed by the business engagement lead
Manage ordering requests for the team
Learn opportunities as a graduate to get involved in supporting comms planning and engagement initiatives

Ability to develop relationships with team and functional stakeholders
Strong writing skills with the ability to quickly learn and adopt our brand tone of voice
Sound time‑management, problem‑solving and people skills with ability to work as part of a team
Inquisitive analytical skills, combined with the ability to learn, adapt and innovate
The ability to work on multiple projects, prioritise time, and understand risk and project needs in a quick‑paced environment
Qualifications
Experience
Technical proficiency in online platforms (e.g., WordPress), Adobe InDesign and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
Communications / Marketing degree or diploma
1+ years plus of graduate work experience in fast‑paced communication teams.
