Purchasing Assistant (Upper Coomera)

We’re on the hunt for a Purchasing Assistant who is organized, dependable, and genuinely takes pride in their work. This role is a key support to our Purchasing team, helping to manage product data, support inventory processes, liaise with internal teams, and gradually take on responsibility with some of our third-party suppliers.

**THE ROLE**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Process stock requests and support inventory coordination across stores and internal teams
- Investigate stock variances and provide accurate availability updates to key departments
- Conduct regular stocktakes and monitor expiry dates to maintain inventory accuracy
- Create and update product data across Shopify, Retail Express, and Unleashed systems
- Maintain clean, accurate Excel reports for tracking and bulk updates
- Support new product onboarding and ensure data accuracy across pricing, barcodes, and categories
- Build and manage relationships with a small group of third-party suppliers
- Communicate key updates and product changes clearly across internal channelsProvide general admin and purchasing support to the team as needed
