Centacare is currently seeking caring and reliable Support Workers to assist clients in their homes and communities through the Queensland Community Support Scheme (QCSS).

About the Role

You will provide low-intensity, person-centred support that helps clients maintain independence and stay connected to their community.

Responsibilities Include

- Domestic assistance (cleaning, laundry, meal preparation)
- Supporting community participation and social outings
- Personal care and assistance with daily routines
- Transporting clients to appointments or errands
- Building respectful and supportive relationships

What You’ll Bring

- A caring and compassionate approach
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to work independently in the community
- Studying or completed Certificate III or higher in Individual Support, Aged Care, Disability or similar
- Minimum 120 hours placement completed

Essential Requirements

- Australian working rights
- Current Australian driver’s licence
- Registered vehicle & Insured

Willing to Obtain

- First Aid & CPR
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Blue Card
- Australian Criminal History Check
