Event & Activations Manager (Cannon Hill)

Black Raven Media is one of Brisbane’s most innovative activations and ambient media agencies with a passion for creating impactful and successful campaigns for our clients. We regularly work with blue chip clients including Subway, Containers For Change, Flight Centre and the Queensland Government. We are looking for an organised, self-motivated individual with experience in event and campaign management. You will be responsible for planning, organising and executing events from conception to completion, ensuring all logistics, budgets and client expectations are met. We will require you to:
- Effectively work across multiple projects at all times
- Manage activations end to end to ensure they are successfully delivered within budget while meeting KPIs
- Build and maintain a strong, trusted relationships with clients and suppliers
- Produce comprehensive documentation including permit applications, risk assessments, staff and supplier briefs, content briefs and post event reporting
- Travel to events (Australia wide) to manage all stakeholders and execute the event (work outside of usual business hours and on weekends as required). This will involve working as a promotional staff member at the event (act as the face of a brand, delivering key messages, distributing samples and creating memorable, interactive consumer experiences)
- Content creation including capturing photos and videos from the event
- General administrative tasks including presentation design and builds The successful applicant will gain invaluable experience across all types of advertising and make valuable connections with agencies and brand marketing managers including media sales, client service, ambient and out-of-home media, events, activations and digital media. This role’s salary is based on experience. No two days will be the same and we are a small close-knit team that have fun in everything we do. This is a full time position and our office is based in Cannon Hill, however the job will have flexibility to work from home for the right person. To be considered for this role, you will:
- Possess a motivated, creative and outgoing personality with an eagerness to learn
- Have exceptional communication skills, organisation and attention to detail
- Experience in events/promotional teams will be looked upon favourably
- Hold a provisional or open drivers license
