Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, this is a strong opportunity for a motivated finance professional to build technical capability and gain broad exposure across a fast-paced finance function. - Supportive, down-to-earth team culture. How you will contribute As the Junior Accountant, you will support the day-to-day finance function across accounting, compliance, and reporting duties.
- Bank and balance sheet reconciliations;
- Assisting with BAS, GST, and ATO compliance requirements;
- Supporting accounts payable and receivable functions;
- Assisting with month-end processes, journals, and accruals:
- Maintaining accurate financial records and reporting schedules; and
- Providing general finance and payroll support as required. What we’re looking for:
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or similar field;
- Up to 2 years’ experience in accounts or finance support roles;
- Exposure to accounts payable, accounts receivable and reconciliation;
- Experience with Xero or MYOB and solid Excel skills;
- High attention to detail with solid organisational skills; and
- Good communicator who works well in a team and is keen to learn.
