Port Stephens is 45 minutes north of Newcastle NSW, just 30mins from Newcastle Airport and is a well known tourist destination. Our new purpose built facility combines a 6 room GP practice with a 4 room/double treatment room Skin Cancer Clinic . We have 1 full-time and 2 part-time skin cancer doctors performing skin checks, excision, flaps, grafts, TBP and managing skin cancers medically and with PDT. Full nursing support and private billing for non pensioners and for all procedures. Our wait times for skin checks are up to 10 weeks and with an elderly population this is a high need area. We are happy to consider doctors looking for full-time or part time work. Some experience in skin checks and management of skin cancers is essential and courses/postgraduate qualifications are desirable. On-site training in more complex procedures available.
