Manufacturing industry
Our client is a highly reputable employer, a market leader within the manufacturing industry. Due to continuous growth, we’re seeking a HR Business Partner to join the team in this exciting newly created role.
This newly created role reports to the Head of People and Culture and works closely with internal stakeholders to deliver:
Take responsibility for managing the employee lifecycle (i.e. Onboarding and compliance)
Ensure on-going compliance with reporting requirements in relation to visa programs.
Proactively manage employees across, absenteeism, welfare and disciplinary action as required.
Liaise and support the Operations production team in employee concerns and management.
Monitor and implement applicable Policies, Procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with both internal processes and legislation.
Preparing and processing Payroll weekly
Ensure that all employees who utilise provided accommodation and have agreements in place and conditions of the properties are maintained to the required standards.
Monitor and implement accommodation processes.
Work with the accommodation co-ordinator to ensure availability and accuracy of information.
Working with and maintaining a robust relationship with the senior leadership team
Consultative Committee Secretariate
What we are looking for:
Relevant degree qualifications and/or equivalent experience
Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role
Passionate about people and building top class teams
Flexible mindset.
Proven track record designing and implementing HR systems and processes
Experience working with remote teams.
Motivated self-starter who is just as comfortable formulating high level HR strategy, as rolling up sleeves and dealing with the day-to-day needs of the business.
Experienced in advising on issues relating to Australian employment law
Excellent problem solving, negotiating and superior communication skills
People management
