Position: Chef Salary: $77000 plus Super Hours: 38 hours Mode: Full time Location 1: Unit 1, 25 Hazel Glen Drive, Doreen, Vic 3754 Full time Location 2: 3/15 Riley Road Craigieburn VIC 3064 Experience required: Formal Qualifications in Cookery and Hospitality are preferred, with a minimum 2_3 years relevant experience as a Chef. Applicant also must have: Great work ethics Time management and organization skills Clear verbal and written communication to meet deadlines. Ensure efficient kitchen operations. The ideal candidate will be expected to perform the following duties that include but are not limited to: Develop menus, estimate food, and Labor costs, and order food supplies. Determine how food should be presented and create decorative food displays. Prepare and cook food by range of methods. Explaining and ensuring adherence to hygiene regulations. Oversee all aspects of food preparation and production. Ensure the quality of dishes is maintained during all stages of preparation and presentation. Collaborate with the Manager and kitchen staff to discuss food preparation issues. Demonstrate cooking techniques and advise on procedures. Supervise kitchen staff.
