Disability Support Worker (Kalkallo)

Job Title: Male Support Worker
- Autism Support (Kalkallo Area)

We are seeking a caring, reliable, and patient Male Support Worker to assist a 15-year-old boy with autism in his daily activities and community participation.

Location: Kalkallo

Shift: Friday evenings, 4:00 PM
- 8:00 PM

Note: Additional shifts may be offered in the future.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide one-on-one support in home and community settings
- Assist with daily routines and personal care (if required)
- Support social, recreational, and educational activities
- Encourage independence and skill development
- Follow behaviour support strategies and care plans
- Maintain accurate notes and communication with family and team.

**Requirements**:

- Experience working with individuals with autism or disabilities (preferred)
- Understanding of behaviour support strategies
- Patience, empathy, and solid communication skills
- Current Working with Children Check (WWCC)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
- First Aid and CPR certification
- Valid driver’s licence and reliable vehicle (preferred)
