Maintenance Technician / Field Hand (Cranbourne West)

CASUAL OR FULL TIME ROLE AVAILABLE PSM Spraybooth Specialists maintains commercial spraybooths for clients across Melbourne. We've been doing it for over 21 years. We're a small field team that works hard, looks after each other, and takes the job seriously. We're looking for a technician — full time or casual depending on the right fit. No spraybooth experience required. What we need is someone who shows up ready to work, follows the system, and takes pride in doing the job properly. This work is more physically demanding than most people expect. The people who thrive here are the ones who get energy from hard physical work — not the ones who put up with it. What the job actually looks like
- Hard physical work, every day — you'll finish tired and feel valuable about it
- Start and finish times vary daily — field service doesn't run on a fixed schedule
- Hours are averaged over a rolling 38-hour week
- Occasional overnight work, a couple of times a year — accommodation and meals covered
- Variable hours and the odd night away need to work for your personal situation What you'll do
- Carry out spraybooth cleaning and maintenance to the PSM standard — we'll train you on exactly how
- Follow PPE and safety procedures on every job, no exceptions
- Log job notes, photos, and records in real time using ServiceM8
- Clock on and off via Connecteam
- Take direction from the Team Leader and flag anything outside your scope
- Show up on time, ready to go — the team depends on it What we're looking for
- Someone who genuinely enjoys physical work and brings energy to it
- Reliable and punctual — every time, not most of the time
- Good to work with — easy to be around, takes the banter, takes the job seriously
- Comfortable following a system and documenting your work
- Mechanically minded is a bonus; willing to learn is the minimum
- Comfortable using a smartphone for job management
- A positive, professional attitude on client sites

- $65,000–$72,000 pa for full-time candidates
- $35-$38/hr for casual
