Overview We seek an experienced Architect Advisor to lead enterprise-wide transformations for some of Australia’s most complex organisations. The role requires strategic vision and technical depth to define robust, “Digital First, Data First” business roadmaps and translate complex organisational challenges into actionable SAP architectures that create lasting value. About the Role As an SAP Architecture Advisor you will co‑pilot account strategy, uncover new stakeholders, build pursuit teams, and lead complex opportunities. You will guide customers through business and technology transformations, acting as a trusted advisor and aligning board strategy with SAP’s solution capabilities to deliver measurable outcomes. Responsibilities
- Lead Strategic Discovery – Run discovery engagements and executive workshops to define future‑state enterprise data strategies, navigating mergers, acquisitions, and organisational change.
- Architect the Core Ecosystem – Design end‑to‑end best‑practice solutions using SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud, SuccessFactors, SAP BTP, SAP Datasphere, and SAP Analytics Cloud, ensuring architectural consistency across complex environments.
- Innovate and Automate – Push boundaries of standard architecture through advanced technical strategies, including AI workflows for system configuration and deployment optimisation.
- Be Evidence‑Based – Ground every recommendation in evidence, anchoring claims in official SAP documentation, verified domain expertise, and proven capabilities.
- Shape and Communicate Roadmaps – Create high‑quality artefacts (proposals, POVs, roadmaps) and present to C‑suite and stakeholders, articulating a shared vision.
- Collaborate Across Teams – Partner with industry, value advisory, customer success, sales, and solution experts to integrate insights and frameworks into transformation strategies.
- Enable the Architecture Practice – Use LeanIX and other tools to maintain artefacts and contribute thought leadership to the advisory team. Key Qualities

- Engage and influence C‑level executives through compelling communication and storytelling.
- Lead opportunities across sales, presales, and delivery in complex enterprise engagements.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; articulate complex architecture concepts in a business‑relevant way.
- Experience with SAP solutions and platforms, translating technology capabilities into tangible business value.
- Strong understanding of SAP key business processes: Record to Report, Procure to Pay, Design to Operate, Hire to Retire, Order to Cash.
- Proven experience in enterprise architecture, solution architecture, or strategic technology advisory roles within large enterprises.
- Domain expertise in a core business capability area (Finance, Spend Management, Asset Lifecycle Management, Supply Chain, or Customer Experience) is an advantage.
- Understanding of industries such as Engineering & Construction, Consumer Products, or Mill Products; flexibility across industries valued.
- Experience with enterprise architecture frameworks and tools, including LeanIX, for developing artefacts and roadmaps is an advantage.
