**Base Salary range of $94,923
- $102,223 plus employer’s contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading**

**About the role**

Join our growing team in a newly established opportunity of Junior Designer (internally known as Associate Designer) and play a vital role in bringing design ideas to life across TAFE NSW products and services. Your job is all about creating seamless and intuitive experiences for both students and staff, consistent with our Design Library.

You’ll spend a significant amount of your time embedded within diverse TAFE NSW product or project teams. As well as bringing your creative smarts, you will also be supported by a team of experienced designers to adopt our design principles and ways of working that will set the stage for delivering great experiences for 300,000 students and 17,000 staff. Your role will span the end-to-end design lifecycle, from discovery, ideation and implementation to review and iteration.

Outside of the embedded team commitment, you’ll hang out with the wider design team, collaborating on joint projects, solving problems together, and swapping ideas and stories that will all contribute to an evolving and relaxed design group.

**About You**

You are a self-motivated designer with strong problem-solving skills and initiative and have an easy-going manner.

**You demonstrate the essential requirements**:

- Degree and or qualification in design or experience.
- Experience in the design process, including some design research experience and skills in design thinking, prototyping and usability testing.
- Experience in creating and delivering production ready UX, UI designs that is accessible across Platforms
- Skilled in design tools such as Figma, and collaboration tools such as Miro and a knowledge of accessible design practices including latest WCAG standards.
