Description
We are seeking an independant, organised, enthusiastic and highly motivated receptionist, who has a drive to always achieve their best, to work as part of our team, in our modern, paper free clinic in Naremburn. Our receptionist will work closely with our Four podiatrists and friendly admin team at other 2 clinics. The right candidate must possess the following skills and abilities:
- Eager to learn and grow with our clinic, onsite training will be provided;
- A excellent team player;
- Attention to detail;
- Exceptional customer service skills;
- Exceptional communication skills;
- Excellent time management skills;
- A drive to achieve the best out come in all situations;
- Previous customer service experience. You must be able to work 2 days per week of below clinical opening hours:
- Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
- Wednesday 9:30 am to 7:00 pm
- Saturday: 8:00 am to 1:00 pm (once every 4 weeks) Your role:
- Manage the day to day running of the reception area;
- Answer telephones and online inquiries in a timely and informed manner;
- Manage patient and podiatrist appointment schedules;
- Look after patient data, sorting incoming correspondence, scan and file in computer system;
- Process patient payments, invoices and receipts Manage ‘Enhanced Primary Care’ referrals including checking patient’s eligibility via HICAPS;
- Sterilisation of medical instruments;
- Cleaning and tidying the reception, kitchen areas and consulting rooms throughout the day;
- Stock control;
- Daily reconciliation;

- Previous experience with Medicare and HICAPS terminal transactions would be preferred;

- Good discretion and understanding of confidentiality;
- Excellent telephone, writing and interpersonal skills. Previous experience in a medical or allied health reception role is preferred but not essential. Training to use our systems will be provided on the job.
