- Reference Number: Responsibilities Provide shift coverage for school crossing sites within Wiloughby Local Government Area. Work 8:00‑9:30 AM and 2:30‑4:00 PM shifts during the school term, Monday‑Friday, with a minimum one‑hour shift as required. Act as a Road Safety Hero, ensuring the safety of children, parents, teachers and motorists. Display effective communication skills and remain alert to potential dangers.
- Supervise school crossing traffic during specified hours.
- Communicate with school staff, parents and motorists to maintain safety protocols.
- Respond to hazards or incidents promptly and report them.
- Maintain a positive, welcoming presence for children and families. Qualifications and Requirements Applicants must be at least 18 years of age, reliable, and willing to work in all weather conditions. Provide or obtain a Working with Children Check, reference checks, police check, and health assessment. All training, uniforms and equipment will be supplied. Benefits Hourly pay with superannuation.
