Description
About the Company OES is a rapidly growing company in the energy‑efficiency space. Our mission is to help Australia achieve its climate‑change milestones while enabling major property portfolios to unlock significant operational cost savings. We deliver full turn‑key energy solutions, often with zero capital expenditure required by our clients. We're a passionate team driven by purpose: decarbonising the built environment and supporting the communities we serve. The Role We're searching for a dynamic Marketing & Communications Lead who is excited to tell our story to the world. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will energise our brand narrative, showcase the impact of our projects, and champion our charitable and sustainability initiatives. This is a part‑time position, perfect for an experienced marketer seeking meaningful, adaptable work that truly matters. This position requires a commitment of 16-20 hours per week. Responsibilities
- Content & Storytelling – Own LinkedIn content (company and executive) and elevate our website and blog; craft case studies from real projects (including site visits and photography); and ensure every piece of content reflects our mission and values.
- Sales Enablement – Create pitch decks and proposals that inspire prospective clients to join us on the path to Net Zero; refine our messaging to highlight the benefits of "zero‑capex" solutions.
- Website Management – Manage and update the company website, ensuring content is accurate, up to date and optimised for search and user experience; coordinate with designers and developers as needed.
- Partnerships & Community – Identify and nurture partnerships with property groups, ESG networks, and industry associations; collaborate with charities and sustainability organisations to amplify our impact; support event participation and community outreach.
- Marketing Strategy & AI – Shape OES's marketing direction, informed by trends in energy efficiency, ESG and climate leadership; harness AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT) to streamline content creation, research, and reporting.
- Thought Leadership & Media – Produce engaging thought‑leadership pieces on energy efficiency and sustainability; build relationships with media and influencers; and help plan media releases and events around our charitable initiatives.
- Engagement & Measurement – Experiment with targeted LinkedIn ads or InMail campaigns; manage email newsletters to share project successes and CSR activities; track and report on performance so we continually improve. Requirements
- 8 years in marketing, communications or content roles, with a track record of bringing brands to life.
- Solid writing and storytelling skills; comfort turning technical concepts into engaging narratives.
- Self‑directed and hands‑on; able to manage multiple projects and juggle ad‑hoc creative tasks.
- Experience with partner, community, or charity collaborations is a plus; passion for sustainability and social impact is essential.
- Familiarity with AI tools for content creation or workflow support.
- Background or interest in energy, infrastructure, sustainability, or climate technology.
- Degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field.
- Valid Australian work authorisation required, including work visas. Why This Role Works You'll have the autonomy to build a marketing function that reflects your vision, while making a tangible difference to our planet and our community. You'll collaborate directly with leadership, shape our brand's voice, and champion charitable initiatives that improve lives and advance sustainability. The role offers flexibility, purpose, and the opportunity to grow with a company that's shaping the future of energy. Apply on Kit Job: kitjobau.com/job/3qep5y
