Endoscopy Admissions Clerk Full time Opportunity Monday to Friday must be able to start from 630am About the Role
- Our customer focused administration team are responsible for ensuring the seamless patient health journey.
- This opportunity will see you responsible for key duties including patient scheduling, pre-admission and admission of patients in our Ramsay Surgical Centre Day unit.
- As a first point of contact for our doctors, patients and their families you will strive to deliver an exceptional customer service experience for all. Key responsibilities of this job include:
- Welcoming patients to the facility
- Admitting patient into the system and taking payments
- Preparation of patient folders
- Responsible for providing administrative support and assistance to the Endoscopy Nurse Unit Manager
- Discharging of patients
- Data Entry of patient’s details
- Hospital/ medical administrative experience is highly desirable
- Scheduling and health fund checking experience highly desirable
- Be highly committed to providing excellent customer service outcomes for all patients, visitors and doctors
- Excellent communication skills and demonstrated problem solving ability
- Proven track record of agility & flexible in previous roles to deliver upon competing priorities
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail About You You will enjoy working in a high performing team and where no two days are the same. In addition, you will demonstrate:
- Intermediate-advanced skills utilising the Microsoft office suite with ability to maintain data entry accuracy.
- Previous experience in theatre bookings or surgical medical administration
- Proven ability to work in a customer service focused workplace
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbally and written
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing conflicting priorities
- Certificate in Medical Terminology desirable
