As a Senior Quality Assurance Specialist within our Life & Investments Claims team, you’ll play a critical role in strengthening the quality, consistency, and integrity of our life claims outcomes. You provide deep technical insight, independent assurance, and clear guidance that helps our claims teams deliver fair, timely, and customer‑centered decisions. Responsibilities
- Lead technical quality assurance activities across life claims portfolios to ensure alignment with Zurich standards and regulatory expectations.
- Provide clear, actionable insights that drive continuous improvement in claims quality, risk management, and customer outcomes.
- Partner with claims leaders and governance teams to embed quality frameworks into day‑to‑day operations.
- Use data and analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for uplift across claims practices.
- Support capability building through coaching, knowledge sharing, and technical guidance, contributing to the evolution of quality assurance frameworks, processes, and reporting. Qualifications and Requirements
- Extensive experience in life insurance claims, with robust exposure to group and retail claims environments.
- Proven background in technical claims.
- Background in quality assurance, governance, or audit related roles.
- Strong understanding of life claims assessment processes and relevant regulatory legislation.
- Ability to analyse quality data and translate insights into practical, value‑adding actions.
- Experience engaging with senior stakeholders and influencing quality outcomes.
- Confidence working with systems, reporting tools, and evolving digital environments.
- Minimum Certificate IV in Life Insurance. Benefits
