Revenue Accountant (North Sydney Council)

Revenue Accountant Cammeray, Sydney – Full Time About the Role As Rauland continues to scale, the strength of our revenue governance and billing accuracy becomes increasingly critical. We are seeking a Revenue Accountant to take end‑to‑end ownership of revenue recognition and billing performance across our service and project‑based contracts, while providing clear visibility to our stakeholders on revenue performance – growth and gaps, trends and risks. Responsibilities
- Ensure accurate revenue recognition across SMA and project‑based contracts
- Strengthen billing structures to support accuracy, consistency and timeliness
- Partner with internal stakeholders to resolve billing issues and improve process reliability
- Provide clear visibility to leadership on revenue trends, risks and cash performance
- Prepare and review revenue reporting and analysis to support decision‑making Qualifications
- Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline
- CA or CPA qualification (highly regarded)
- Proven experience in revenue recognition within contract or project‑based environments
- Robust capability in accuracy, billing process improvement and system data integrity
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, comfortable working cross‑functionally
- ERP experience (SAP or similar) and strong Excel capability
