Project Accountant (North Sydney)

Key responsibilities include Managing month-end processes including journals, accruals, and reconciliations Monitoring project costs, profitability, and variance analysis Reviewing and correcting cost allocations and work orders Supporting billing processes and tracking cash collection Delivering financial reporting and insights to stakeholders Assisting with forecasting and budgeting activities Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal controls About You Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related CA/CPA qualification (or working towards) preferred Experience in project accounting or a similar role Strong SAP experience Solid understanding of month-end processes and financial reporting Robust analytical and problem-solving skills About Ventia As a leading services provider, we maintain, operate, and manage the essential infrastructure that makes modern life possible across Australia and New Zealand.
