Japanese Language Teacher (North Sydney)

Ravenswood is a Uniting Church Prep to Year 12 day and boarding school for girls located on Sydney’s North Shore. We are seeking a agile and accomplished Japanese Teacher to join our dedicated Languages team on a temporary, part-time basis (0.475 FTE) 19 periods across a 10 day cycle. This role is for a maximum period of one term, Term 4, 2025, to cover a staff member on leave. To be successful in this position, you will:
- Be an effective classroom teacher with an excellent understanding of the relevant Languages curriculum and pedagogy;
- Have experience teaching Japanese in Years 9 and 10;
- Be knowledgeable in the effective use of ICT to deliver language courses;
- Be confident in differentiating the curriculum in the classroom; and
- Demonstrate a commitment to the co-curricular and wellbeing programs of the school.
