Position Overview
Key Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality English lessons (General English / Academic English / IELTS / EAP) in accordance with the ELICOS Standards 2018.
Prepare lesson plans, learning materials, and assessments aligned with curriculum requirements.
Monitor and support student progress through continuous feedback and guidance.
Maintain accurate attendance and assessment records as per compliance requirements.
Participate in staff meetings, moderation sessions, and career development activities.
Essential Requirements
Bachelor’s degree (Education, Linguistics, TESOL or related field).
TESOL qualification that meets NEAS/ELICOS requirements (e.g., CELTA, Cert IV in TESOL).
Minimum 1 year of ELICOS or ESL teaching experience (onshore or offshore).
Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
Solid awareness of ELICOS Standards and multicultural teaching contexts.
Desirable
Experience teaching in CRICOS-registered institutions.
Knowledge of PRISMS, attendance monitoring, and academic reporting systems.
Flexibility to teach morning, afternoon, or evening sessions.
Employment Type
Casual / Part-time
Competitive hourly rate based on experience and qualifications.
