- Discover excellent perks and growth opportunities at The Doctors Our reception team is the heart of our family medical centre, and we are looking for a full time receptionist to join our team. You will provide a wonderful first impression to visitors and a warm and caring welcome to our regular patients, plus you need to have experience in customer service and be able to manage multiple demands at once. You will need to be confident working in a fast‑paced environment and thrive on being busy. This is a full time position available for 5 days per week (Monday
- Friday 8‑hour shifts between the hours of 7.30am – 6pm). Reception duties include
- Greeting and welcoming visitors
- Assisting with account enquiries, invoicing and reconciling accounts
- Answering telephone calls and scheduling appointments
- Recording patient details, registration and updating patient information accurately
- Completing general administration tasks including filing patient documents and scanning, transferring patient notes
- Clerical tasks as required. About you
- You will also be responsible for liaising with the nursing team to ensure acutely unwell patients, and those who require urgent attention, are dealt with appropriately.
- You will have a high level of communication skills both written and verbal, be culturally aware, thrive in a busy environment, be able to multi‑task and have exceptional customer service.
- Previous experience in a medical centre would be desirable but is not essential. Full training will be given, however, you will need to be a fast learner, have great computer, and communication skills, be well presented and not be afraid of hard work.
