La Cucina Di Papa, the baking operation within Papa's Pasticceria, is seeking a motivated and experienced Baker to join the team at Five Dock.

Experience and knowledge of baking all types of bread is an advantage.

Our bread area is a fast paced environment where we make to deliver to our three stores (Five Dock, Haberfield and Bondi) as well as wholesale to many businesses in the Sydney area. Our Bread makers commence very early in the morning, so you must be prepared to work early morning shifts from 2am to 8am.

In this role you will:

- Liaise with Bakery Supervisor on daily production requirements and any production issues which may arise.
- Assemble ingredients and mix dough in machines with flour, water, yeast and salt etc.
- Be involved in every step of the Baking process from beginning to end
- Baking and production of all types of bread, pizza dough & toppings
- General duties as required

1. Minimum 2 years experience in a similar, relevant role.

2. Proven ability to work unsupervised when required, and look after their own section if needed.

3. The ability to remain calm in a rapid-paced environment.

4. Attention to and an eye for detail. The ability to prepare and produce breads of excellent quality and appearance.

5. Able to competently operate baking machinery

5. A positive and enthusiastic attitude, ready to continue developing your skills to the next level.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Casual

Pay: $55,000.00
- $65,000.00 per year
