Medical Receptionist (Currambine)

**Rostered Hours**:

- **Wednesday**: 8:00 AM
- 1:00 PM
- **Friday**: 2:00 PM
- 5:00 PM
- **Saturday**: 8:00 AM
- 5:00 PM (_Non-Negotiable_)

**Duties May Include**:

- Greeting patients and visitors
- Handling phone calls and inquiries
- Scheduling and following up on appointments
- Processing Medicare billings and payments
- Faxing, scanning, filing, and mailing documents
- Ensuring confidentiality of patient information at all times
- Following practice policies and procedures, and reporting changes as needed
- Day-to-day banking, maintaining financial records, and reconciliation

**The Successful Applicant Will**:

- Be friendly, patient-focused, and approachable
- Be well-organized and detail-oriented
- Have knowledge of Best Practice software (_desirable but not essential_)
- Work collaboratively within a small, supportive team
- Have the ability to multi-task effectively
- Have reliable transport (_not essential_)
- Have full working rights in Australia
- Previous experience in a General Practice setting is preferred
