Bookkeeper (Dalby)

About the role FGH Civil is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team on a part-time basis. Based in Dalby, Queensland, this role will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the overall accounting functions of our growing civil construction firm. What you'll be doing 1. Performing day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including data entry, accounts payable and accounts receivable 2. Reconciling bank statements and credit card accounts 3. Generating up to date accurate financial reports and statements when requested 4. Assisting with the preparation of budgets and forecasts 5. Liaising with our external accountants and auditors 6. BAS preparation 7. Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and tax regulations 8. General office duties What we're looking for 1. Proven experience as a Bookkeeper, preferably within a similar industry 2. Solid knowledge of bookkeeping principles and practices, as well as relevant software (Quickbooks Online) 3. Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy 4. Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel 5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team 6. Strong communication and customer service skills 7.
