The Finance Manager is responsible for the strategic and operational management of the organisation's financial systems, reporting, compliance and financial governance. About the role: As the Finance Manager, your responsibilities include: Lead the organisation's financial management, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting and reporting; Prepare and present monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports to the CEO, Board and executive team; Oversee budgeting processes and monitor performance against budgets; Manage cash flow, investments and financial risk; Provide strategic financial advice, modelling and scenario analysis to support planning and growth; Identify financial risks and opportunities to support long-term sustainability and funding diversification; Ensure financial governance, controls, policies and systems are in place; Prepare annual financial statements and coordinate the external audits; Ensure compliance with legislation, funding agreements, reporting standards and taxation obligations (including BAS, SGC, Qleave and FBT); Support the CEO with insurance management and claims; Monitor financial performance and reporting of government-funded programs and service agreements; Provide financial oversight of funding and service delivery budgets; Lead, supervise and develop the finance team staff; and Maintain and improve financial systems, processes, data integrity and reporting efficiency.
