Ventia provides operational and preventative maintenance services to the Millmerran Power Station, which generates 870MW of electricity, powering over 1 million homes. Ventia’s contract was successfully renewed in September 2024, ensuring stable and ongoing work.

We are looking for a Crane Driver/Rigger Trades Assistant. Key responsibilities include:

- Crane Operation: Safely operating cranes to lift and move heavy loads, such as coal, machinery and equipment necessary for the contract.
- Rigging: Securing loads with appropriate rigging equipment to ensure safe and efficient transport of materials within the power station.
- Support: Providing support to tradespersons on site.

This role is crucial for the smooth operation and maintenance of the power station, ensuring safety and efficiency in all activities.

**What We Offer**:

- Condensed full-time work week into a 4-day roster (Monday to Thursday, 6am to 5pm), allowing you to make the most of your weekend!
- Hourly Rate: $43.74
- Exceptional safety records, standards, and practices
- Rural Allowance: Between $34.00
- $92.00 (per week, depending on location)
- Tool Allowance: $23.52 per week
- Income protection as part of Super
- Long-term stability with the coal and ash handling contract now in its 11th year Secured gated community with on-site parking**About You**:

- Minimum of 12 months experience working with and assisting tradespersons in an industrial environment
- Basic Rigger and/or Dogman’s Ticket
- White Card
- Forklift Ticket
- Australian Driver's Licence (HR Desirable)
- Confined Spaces Training, Working at Heights Training, Elevated Work Platform (EWP) Ticket, High Risk Licence
- Crane Ticket
- TLILIC0023 or TLILIC0021
- Basic Scaffolding Ticket (Desirable)
