Intermediate Accountant (Toowoomba Regional)

Salary range of AUD 70K

Due to continued growth, we’re recruiting multiple roles across the team—starting with this Intermediate Accountant opportunity. Key Responsibilities
- Preparation of financial statements, tax returns and IAS/BAS for all entities across various industries
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with relevant legislation
- Assisting in the development of effective tax structures and strategies
- Liaising with ATO and various statutory authorities on behalf of clients
- Stay updated on changes in relation tax legislation and other statutory matters
- Development of strategies in assisting clients achieve business and personal goals
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships What you'll need to succeed
- Minimum two years of Australian experience with an accounting firm
- An appropriate qualification in the commerce or business field
- CPA or CA qualified or currently completing (desirable but not essential)
- Ability to quickly adapt to new software (experience using Xero, MYOB and Reckon wouldbe an advantage)
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
