- Toowoomba Based A respected local business is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to lead core accounting and financial reporting functions across multiple entities. This is a hands-on, senior role offering variety, autonomy, and the opportunity to work closely with executive leadership. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, you will be responsible for delivering accurate and timely financial reporting, maintaining strong financial controls, and supporting compliance and strategic finance activities across the group. This is a full-time, office-based role , ideal for someone who values collaboration, consistency, and visibility in their work. Key Highlights
- End-to-end financial reporting
- Multi-entity accounting exposure
- Strategic support to senior leadership What You'll Be Responsible For
- Owning Financial Reporting
- Preparing monthly financial reports, reconciliations, and journals
- Delivering group profit & loss reporting and consolidations
- Providing clear analysis to support management decision-making
- Preparing EOFY reporting for external advisors
- Managing Cash, Banking & Intercompany Activity
- Monitoring cash flow and completing bank reconciliations
- Managing loans, repayments, and banking requirements
- Processing intercompany transactions and reconciliations
- Overseeing invoicing and supporting debt collection activities
- Payroll, Compliance & Governance
- Processing executive payroll and related statutory obligations
- Preparing and lodging BAS, payroll tax, FBT, super and workers compensation
- Managing insurance renewals, claims and compliance registers
- Assets, Systems & Support
- Maintaining the asset register and reviewing maintenance cost allocations
- Providing backup support for accounts processing when required
- Partnering with the CFO on projects, reporting and ad-hoc analysis What This Role Offers You

- A qualification in Accounting/Finance
- CPA/CA qualification
- Proven experience in a senior accounting or finance role
- Strong knowledge of Australian tax and compliance requirements
- Excellent attention to detail, organisation, and time management
