- Toowoomba, Pittsworth and Warwick, has the following role available Accountant Self-Managed Super Funds The Opportunity Hooper Accountants currently have a fantastic opportunity for a talented Accountant with SMSF experience to join our Team on a full-time or part-time basis. At Hooper Accountants, you’ll work alongside a passionate and experienced team dedicated to delivering outstanding service to a diverse range of clients, from established businesses to emerging clients. Key Responsibilities
- Apply professional accounting, financial and SMSF knowledge in the development and maintenance of client affairs
- Provide exceptional service to clients through relationship management and effective communication;
- Provide knowledge and understanding of legislative requirements and ensure compliance is maintained;
- Helping to identify, research and resolve complex accounting and superfund issues; Qualifications
- Bachelor of Business / Commerce Degree with Accounting Major
- CPA or CA qualification or looking to complete (preferred but not mandatory)
- Minimum 3+ years public practice experience (including SMSF experience) or Relevant experience in a similar role;
- Demonstrated knowledge of Australian taxation law;
- Willingness to develop and learn new skills
- Comprehensive computer skills including knowledge of various accounting software
