Mechanical Engineering Technician (Kembla Grange)

Select Civil Pty Limited is an independent company engaged in landfill services, civil engineering and building contracting. The company has been operating since 1987. We currently have a position available for a **Workshop Tradesperson.**

**Responsibilities**
- Installing and performing diagnostic tests on mechanical systems
- Troubleshooting mechanical malfunctions and breakdowns, as well as performing repairs.
- Monitoring the availability of parts and replenishing supplies.
- Organising and supervising inspection and maintenance of machines and plant.
- The repair of plant that has broken down.
- Maintain plant records.
- Training co-workers on the safe and effective use of mechanical machinery and equipment.
- Selecting tools and equipment.
- Estimating material costs and quantities, and machine requirements.
- Collecting and analysing data.
- Ensuring compliance with environmentally sound work practises.
- Collection & disposal of waste materials

**Qualifications** Suitable certification or relevant experience

**Experience** At least 2 years’ experience in a similar environment.

- $90k pa**

**Salary**: $80,000.00
- $90,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

- KEMBLA GRANGE, NSW 2526: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
