**Illawarra Montessori Pre School** is a small 29 place educational facility for children ages 2-6 years.

'IMPS' has been modelled to provide a warm and nurturing environment for both children and staff. Our focus is to provide an interactive, inviting and inclusive space to allow our kid's minds to grow and develop.

**About the Role**

An exciting opportunity exists for a Diploma Qualified who has experience with the 2-6 age group and a passion to inspire and lead other educators.

The role requires an educator who can:

- Provide a safe and supportive learning workplace
- Plan and implement age-appropriate learning experiences
- Observe and assess children's learning
- Build positive relationships with children and families
- Collaborate with colleagues and other professionals

**About You**

As a educator, you will bring demonstrated knowledge in the childcare industry. You will have exceptional communication skills with high levels of care and empathy.

You will have:

- An Early Childhood Teaching degree or ACECQA approved equivalent qualification
- Solid understanding of National Quality Framework (NQF)
- Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
- Good knowledge of Child Protection and Workplace OH&S; legislation
- Knowledge of health, hygiene and the nutrition needs of children
- Proven understanding of administrative functions

Pay: $26.20
- $49.15 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
