**ABOUT THE ROLE**

This role is a Permanent position based at the GM3 office in Brisbane CBD.

As the **Finance Officer**, you will be responsible for day-to-day transactional accounting, key account reconciliations, and liaising with internal and external stakeholders to ensure financial accuracy and efficiency.

**Other key responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to**:

- Oversee accounts payable, ensuring timely payments, reconciliations, and resolving vendor issues while maintaining strong relationships.
- Manage the fixed asset register, handle accounting and reconciliations, and collaborate with project teams on CWIP projects.
- Ensure financial processes comply with company policies and standards.
- Collaborate with internal teams (GM3) to execute tasks effectively.
- Provide support to the Finance Manager on additional tasks as required.

**ABOUT YOU**
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage at all business levels.
- Proven accounting experience in mining or related industries.
- Strong knowledge of SAP systems (preferred).
- High integrity and professionalism with a proactive mindset.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment
