What you’ll do
- Whilst studying a Certificate III in Engineering Mechanical working with GM³ over 4 years, you’ll have the opportunity to work on:
- General underground duties, mechanical inspections, operation of machinery, function testing, fault finding
- Test for, locate and repair mechanical faults
- Maintain existing mining equipment
- Mechanical inspections and repairs to underground mining machinery including RTV's, gas drainage drill rigs, continuous miner, shuttle car, feeder, longwall, pumps, coal clearance conveyors and surface winders What we’re looking for

- Ability to commence in January 2027
- Ability to work in a team environment as well as individually
- Commitment to full term of the apprenticeship and study requirements
- Willingness to learn and develop new skills and knowledge
- Demonstrated interest/passion in the trade Must-haves

- Drivers licence and reliable transport
- NSW National Police Check
