Hotel Receptionist (Darlinghurst)

**Position Overview**: We are seeking a reliable and professional Night Auditor to join our team at Kirketon Hotel Sydney, a 4-star boutique hotel. This position is available on a casual or part-time basis, with shifts from 5:00 PM to 11:00 PM. Following the shift, the receptionist will remain on-site at the hotel until 8:00 AM for on-call overnight shift. In case of emergency, the receptionist must be available to assist; otherwise, they may rest and have personal time. A bed will be provided for overnight rest. At the moment, shift available on Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Perform nightly auditing of hotel operations
- Complete check-in and check-out procedures for guests
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve issues as needed
- Monitor hotel security and ensure safety protocols are followed
- Manage financial transactions and report discrepancies

**Work Conditions**:

- Shift: 5:00 PM to 11:00 PM, then staying at hotel until 8am for on-call overnight shift.
- Accommodation and sleeping conditions provided
- Competitive pay above market rate

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a hotel reception or night auditor role preferred
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
