**About us**: The Victor Chang Cardiac Research Institute (the **Institute**) is dedicated to finding cures for cardiovascular disease and is one of the most respected heart research facilities in the world. Renowned for the quality of its breakthroughs, the Institute was established in 1994 and has grown to a team of over 200 researchers from around the globe, working across five divisions. A global centre-of-excellence, it integrates Cardiac Physiology and Transplantation, Developmental and Stem Cell Biology, Molecular Cardiology and Biophysics, Structural and Computational Biology, as well as Vascular Biology. At the Institute, we translate our discoveries into new diagnostics, prevention, and treatment of cardiovascular disease
- reducing the incidence, severity and impact of heart disease.

**Your next career prospect**: **What we will trust you with***:

- Provide business partnering to the Institute on a range of recruitment policies, programs, and practices.
- Develop and implement recruitment policies, practices, and programs to attract and retain a diverse, high calibre workforce.
- Prepare reports relating to talent acquisition to support the relevant key areas of the Institute's strategic plan.
- Promote a culture of diversity, inclusion, and equity across the recruitment process.
- Coordinate the onboarding activities in consultation with the Learning and Development Advisor.
- Contribute to the success of being an Employer of Choice.

**Does this sound like you?***:

- Demonstrated experience and results as a Talent Acquisition specialist.
- Significant experience in internal recruitment practices.
- Experience using applicant tracking and onboarding systems (Lanteria experience is advantageous).
- Proven experience in coordinating recruitment campaigns.
- Strong interviewing and role analysis skills.
- Ability to write engaging job advertisements.
- Ability to review position descriptions to align with market trends and contemporary recruitment practices.
- Experience in relationship management and influencing skills.
- Demonstrated good time management skills.
- Strong customer service ethic and approach.
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Recruitment or similar and knowledge of immigration practices and procedures would be advantageous.
