Location Sydney, NSW (Projects across Paddington, Mosman, Lower North Shore, Eastern Suburbs) Job Type Casual Trial Period o/ Full Time Initial engagement on hourly rate with the intention of transitioning to permanent employment for the right person. Role Purpose We are looking for an experienced carpenter who can confidently work across all aspects of residential construction, from structural framing through to high-quality finishes. You must be able to:
- Read and interpret plans
- Work independently without constant supervision
- Identify issues before they become problems
- Deliver high-quality workmanship
- Take ownership of your work on site
- Work with other trades This role suits someone who wants long-term growth within a strong, quality-focused company. Key Responsibilities
- Structural framing and general carpentry
- Fixing carpentry and detailed finishes
- Set-out and interpretation of construction drawings
- Defect identification and problem solving onsite
- Coordination with site supervisors and trades
- Maintaining quality standards and site presentation
- Working efficiently and safely across high-end residential projects Ideal Candidate
- Qualified carpenter with strong onsite experience
- Can confidently read plans and understand construction sequencing
- Solid knowledge of residential construction from start to finish
- High attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
- Able to work independently and take initiative
- Experience with high-end renovations and architecturally detailed projects preferred
- Driver’s licence and own transport
