Role Overview As a Disability Support Worker (DSW) at Wesley Mission Queensland, you will enhance the health and wellbeing of people in our community by offering person‑centred support in residential settings. Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the team to provide seamless, person‑centred support.
- Assist individuals with daily living needs, including personal care, household tasks, hospitality, and community participation.
- Encourage and support each person to achieve and maintain the highest level of independence and wellbeing. Qualifications
- Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) or equivalent/relevant.
- Solid written, spoken, and comprehension English skills.
- Ability to provide high‑quality personal care and lifestyle support, including for people with complex needs. Essential Requirements
- Proof of COVID‑19 vaccination status (or as required by legislation and WMQ policy).
- Relevant probity checks required by legislation and WMQ Limited policy.
- Current Australian Driver’s Licence and willingness to travel for work.
- NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (Yellow Card).
